Documents for Deed of Acceptance of Inheritance

The supporting documents mentioned above may change on a case-by-case basis, for this reason please contact us before proceeding to gather them.

To make it easier to understand, I have grouped the documents into categories:

A. Identity & Information of Heirs:

  • Photocopies of identity cards of all heirs
  • Home address
  • Profession
  • AFM
  • Income tax office

B. Death & Family Status Certificates:

  • Death certificate (2 copies)
  • Certificate of family status of the deceased from the Municipality of residence (or Certificate of Nearest Relatives) (2 copies)

C. Will (If Any):

  • Minutes of Publication of the Will from the competent court (2 copies)

D. Certificates for the Will:

  • Certificate that no will has been published or that no other will has been published (2 copies):

From the Peace Court of the deceased’s residence (death after 01.03.2013) From the First Instance Court of the deceased’s residence (death before 01.03.2013)

E. Real Estate:

  • Extract of Cadastral Diagram (issued by the office)
  • Copy of the building permit (if there is a building)
  • Cadastral diagram (optional)
  • Title deeds of the deceased
  • Declaration of ownership (if there is an application act)

F. Taxes:

  • E9 of the deceased
  • ENFIA certificate:

The deceased or the heir included the property in ENFIA for the years 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 (for acceptance of inheritance)

Note:

The office undertakes the issuance of the Extract of Cadastral Diagram. Please make sure you have all the necessary documents with you for the smooth and immediate drafting of the contract.
